Welcome to JTKreative! We're a small, independently owned creative business specializing in affordable, professional websites and personalized service for small businesses.
These Terms & Conditions explain how we work with our customers, what to expect from our services, and how billing and payments are handled.
1. Our Services
JTKreative provides services including:
- Website design and development
- Website maintenance and updates
- Logo and graphic design
- Photography and other creative services
Services, deliverables, and pricing are determined by the requirements of each project.
Any written quote or separate service agreement may establish additional or different terms. If there is a conflict, the specifically agreed project terms take precedence.
2. Quotes and Project Pricing
Quotes are generally valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
The quoted price covers the work and features specifically identified in the proposal.
Requests for additional pages, forms, functionality, design changes, or other services outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges. We will discuss those charges and obtain approval before proceeding.
3. Website Approval and Payment
We believe customers should be satisfied with their new website before paying for its construction.
For our standard website projects, no upfront payment is required. Payment becomes due only after the completed website has been presented to the customer for review and approved.
Payment deadlines are shown on the applicable invoice.
Other services, including logo design, photography, and specialized creative work, may have different payment arrangements specified in their quotes.
4. Website Maintenance
JTKreative offers optional ongoing website maintenance, which may include software updates, backups, minor content changes, and other services described in the customer's maintenance arrangement.
For new websites with a monthly maintenance agreement, recurring billing begins one month after the completed website has been approved and launched.
Maintenance invoices are generally issued monthly. Receiving a recurring invoice does not automatically authorize JTKreative to charge a customer's payment method.
Automatic payments, if offered, require the customer's separate authorization.
5. Website Hosting and Domain Names
JTKreative does not resell web hosting.
Customers maintain their own hosting and domain registration accounts and are responsible for the associated third-party charges.
We can assist customers with selecting hosting, setting up accounts, and configuring their websites.
Customers retain control of their domain names and hosting accounts, subject to their agreements with those providers.
6. Payments
JTKreative accepts payment methods identified on the customer's invoice, which may include online credit or debit card payments, bank payments, and checks.
Online payments are processed through independent payment service providers, including Stripe.
All prices and invoices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their invoices and contacting us promptly about any suspected errors.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Website Design Projects
For standard website projects, payment is not collected until the completed website has been reviewed and approved.
If a customer wishes to discontinue a project before completion, we ask that they contact us to discuss the circumstances and any previously approved third-party expenses.
Refund requests concerning approved and paid projects will be evaluated based on the services delivered, the agreed scope of work, and applicable law.
Monthly Website Maintenance
Customers may cancel ongoing website maintenance by contacting JTKreative before their next billing period.
Cancellation stops future maintenance billing and services after the current paid service period, unless another arrangement has been agreed upon.
Payments for services already completed or maintenance periods already provided are generally nonrefundable, except where required by law or where a billing error has occurred.
Incorrect or Duplicate Payments
If an invoice was paid incorrectly or a duplicate payment was made, please contact us. We will investigate and arrange an appropriate correction or refund.
Refunds processed electronically may take additional time to appear, depending on the payment provider and financial institution.

8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing reasonably accurate information, requested project materials, and timely feedback.
Customers must have permission to use any photographs, logos, text, or other copyrighted materials supplied for their projects.
Delays in receiving required information or approvals may affect project completion dates.
Customers are also responsible for reviewing and approving their website content before launch.
9. Ownership and Third-Party Software
Customers retain ownership of their original business materials, including logos, photographs, and content they provide.
Websites may incorporate third-party software, templates, fonts, extensions, or other licensed materials. Those components remain subject to their respective licensing agreements.
Specific ownership rights and delivery of custom-created materials may be addressed in the applicable project agreement.
10. Website Performance and Availability
JTKreative makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable, functional websites and responsive customer support.
However, no website or hosting service can be guaranteed to operate without interruption, errors, or security threats.
JTKreative is not responsible for outages or failures caused solely by third-party hosting providers, domain registrars, payment processors, or services outside our reasonable control.
We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, website traffic levels, sales, or business results.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Privacy and Customer Information
Information provided through our website, contact forms, and billing portal is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Website Content
Unless otherwise indicated, the text, graphics, branding, and other original content on the JTKreative website belong to JTKreative or their respective rights holders.
Visitors may not reproduce or commercially distribute our original content without permission, except as allowed by applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
JTKreative may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in services, operations, or legal requirements.
Updates will be published on this page. Changes do not automatically alter the terms of an existing, separately agreed customer contract.
