03 / BEYOND WEBSITES

Every little detail has a purpose.

Sometimes it's the little things that matter most. A certain color, a familiar face, or something with a story behind it. We love finding those personal details and working them into designs that mean something to the people they're made for.

White T-shirt mockup featuring the Hawkins Farmhouse Ales wordmark and small wheat detail

LOGO & APPAREL DESIGN

Hawkins Farmhouse Ales

An elegant wordmark featuring red wheat, the same kind Hawkins uses to brew his beer. We carried that detail through to the apparel.

Black Rough Creek Cattle Company logo with a cattle brand and Texas Bred, Grass Fed tagline

LOGO, TAGLINE & BRANDING

Rough Creek Cattle Company

We based the cattle outline on a photo of one of the ranch’s own Red Brangus. The Texas shape, creek, and oil derrick all represent something real about the ranch. We came up with the tagline, too.

Illustrated Vintage Tours of Texas logo with a smiling pale-blue VW bus, grapes, and a tiny version of the logo on the bus door

ILLUSTRATED LOGO

Vintage Tours of Texas

Her restored blue VW van took guests on wine tours through the Texas Hill Country, so we made it the star of her logo. We even put a tiny version of the logo on the van's door.

04 / CAMPAIGN WORK

Signs of the times.

More than a logo. Sometimes a project calls for a tagline, a message, and a whole visual language that people can recognize at a glance.

COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN · HAYS COUNTY

Save Our Wells.

We've designed our share of political signs over the years. But Save Our Wells called for more than a sign. We came up with the tagline, the logo, and the words to help a local groundwater campaign get its message across.

“It’s Trinity Water, Not ‘Infinity’ Water.”

CAMPAIGN APPAREL

A familiar symbol. A different meaning.

The Texas “Come and Take It” image, reimagined with a water pipe instead of a cannon.

UNRELEASED CREATIVE CONCEPT

What if we pushed the idea further?

In 2015, Buda agreed to buy water from Electro Purification, whose plans to pump from the Trinity Aquifer had local well owners worried. We took the city's “Breathe Easy Here” logo and gave it a very different message.

05 / PHOTOGRAPHY

A closer look at the story.

Sometimes the right photograph tells people more than a paragraph ever could.
